Wellness Training Academy featured Courses
Collaboration with Skin Candy
A Maldivian organic skincare brand specialising in organic, chemical-free, paraben and toxin-free spa and beauty products.
Skin Candy holds workshops in different atolls in the Maldives to promote women's equality. Participants leave the course with a deeper understanding of how to treat their skin and maximise the efficacy of the products they use. After the programme is over, graduates can become independent distributors of the product, providing a reliable source of income for anyone interested in joining, even stay-at-home moms. Skin Candy's CSR plan involves giving local Maldivian women the chance to work as commission sales reps in several cities around the country.
At Skin Candy's flagship property, they also hire and train local women to work.
About the Founder of Skin Candy
Ms. Lubna Zahir Hussain
A major driving force for Ms Hussain’s company was to focus on outlining the importance of skin care - especially for tropical communities such as ours, where we are subjected to direct UV rays.
So, what motivated her to create Skin Candy?
“There were some important elements,” Hussian continues; “First of all, it was the liberty to create what you want with autonomy by using your dream ingredients and creating a personal formula that works for the majority of skin types and skin problems. I found many people with skin care needs and a market with millions of products that did not meet their needs. This was my starting point to create a super and effective product that can meet the needs of consumers who are looking for skincare and beauty products which they can rely on to find a therapeutic solution without the use of chemicals.
All of Skin Candy products are made from ISO Certified organic and natural ingredients and contain 0% chemicals, paraben or toxins.
